- Married 60%
- Conservative 37%, Moderate 37%, Liberal 26%
- No children living at home 64%
- College educated 54%
- Average annual giving $2,140 ($940 to churches)

- Fundraising event 39%
- Letter 37%
- Workplace event 20%
- Telephone call 20%
- Magazine, newspaper or newsletter article/ad 13%
- Email 11%
- TV show/ad 11%
- Website 11%
- Radio 9%
It’s crucial to work with your nonprofit clients to properly target consumers because up to 57% of donors indicate they will be giving less in 2008.
